In March 2018, under the witnesses of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President of France Francois De Rugy, FLC group signed the agreement to purchase 24 A3210NEO Aircraft with Airbus with the total value of the contract at listed price of $3.108 Billion.
After 3 months, on the 25/06, Bamboo Airways’ representative continued to signed a memorandum of understanding with Beoing at the US Chamber of Commerce (in Washington DC) witnessed by Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, FLC completed the deposit procedure for this agreement, which was worth $5.6 billion US listing price. According to the agreement, from April 2020 to the end of 2021, BOEING will deliver 20 BOEING 787-9 Dreamliner to Bamboo Airways

According to BOEING, the 787 Dreamliner is currently a modern, and high-performance model within the commercial aircraft. Dreamliner has 2 paths with capacity of 300 seats, it is 6m longer than the 787-8, and for that it can carry more passengers and cargo on a longer distance, which can fly up to 14,140km.
From 2011, BOEING Dreamliner has served more than 226 million passengers in 680 routes all around the world, the model saved about 10 million tons of fuel.

The A321 NEO is the pride of Airbus, it is the world’s best-selling aircraft, and continually being ordered by various airlines in Europe, and Asia. The A321NEO has low operating and maintenance costs, comfortable cabin, and spacious. Quiet and environmental friendly, the A321NEO has the capacity of 240 passengers, leather seats, and smooth carpeted floor.
The cabin is equipted with 16.7 million LED lights, behind the seat equipped screens which provides many entertainment channels. In particular, the baggage compartment is quite large.
In the next 2 years, Bamboo Airways aims to open routes from oversea flight directly to Vietnam’s tourism destinations, including FLC projects such as: Quy Nhon, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang… Besides, there will also be domestic flights which will connect tourism destinations such as: Thanh Hoa – Quy Nhon, Thanh Hoa – Phu Quoc, Thanh Hoa – Nha Trang, Hai Phong – Quy Nhon…
From the third year, international routes will be opened and flight directly to major Northeast Asia Territories such as Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan…
This strategy aims to reduce the pressure of aviation infrastructure in big cities and strengthen regional linkages, leveraging Vietnam’s tourism to the world.
