Bamboo Airways cooperates with the Czech Embassy to bring Czech Citizens home

Amidst the complex situation of Covid-19, the Czech Embassy in Vietnam cooperates with Bamboo Airways to operate the special flight from Hanoi to Prague (Czech Republic), bringing 280 Czech citizens to their home country.

Also, this flight carries medical assistance from the Vietnamese government to the Czech Republic, to support the Covid-19 prevention and control in this country.

In order to minimize the risk of pandemic transmission, Bamboo Airways will comprehensively implement the strict regulations, recommendations and standards of domestic and foreign authorities. This includes not operating a return flight from Czech to Vietnam, complying with the decision to suspend entry for all foreigners and cases of visa exemption issued to Vietnamese people and relatives entering Vietnam from 0h00 on March 22, 2020 of the Prime Minister.

Bamboo Airways regrets the inconvenience and looks forward to the sympathy and understanding of dear passengers in response to the Vietnam Government’s Covid-19 disease prevention effort.

After passing the boarding gate, passengers will be sprayed with disinfectant to remove any virus, this is also the first disinfection step that is carried out by a Vietnamese airline.

After returning from Prague, the whole cockpit, cabins and the aircraft will be sterilized according to the highest safety standard to prevent the virus from spreading.
