Dear beloved passengers,

Today, bad weather at airports in Vinh, Van Don, Hanoi made it impossible for some flights operated by Bamboo Airways to land due to the heavy fog.

The situation increases in gravity as weather forecasts show that from tonight to 9 am tomorrow – February 18, 2022 – at Noi Bai airport, the fog is dense causing unsafe conditions for take-off/landing. Flights scheduled at Noi Bai airport during this time must be canceled until the weather improves. This seriously affects the flight schedule of all airlines, including Bamboo Airways.

In order to ensure absolute safety for passengers and crew, Bamboo Airways will evaluate the actual weather impact on flight operations to appropriately adjust the flight schedule.

Accordingly, Bamboo Airways’ latest operating schedule for adjusted flights is as follows:

Diverted flights

– QH1970 HCMC – Van Don diverted to Noi Bai airport.

– QH262 HCMC – Hanoi diverted to Van Don airport.

– QH1628 Phu Quoc – Hanoi diverted to Da Nang airport.

– QH1626 Phu Quoc – Hanoi diverted to Hai Phong airport.

– QH1154 HCMC – Vinh diverted to Da Nang airport.

Canceled flights due to chain reaction

– QH280 HCMC – Hanoi

Delayed flights to February 18, 2022

– QH1155 Vinh – HCMC

For the safety of our beloved passengers, Bamboo Airways hopes to receive your sympathy and understanding as we encounter these unfortunate weather problems affecting our flights.
