Bamboo Airways will officially operate 4 routes from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Buon Me Thuot and Dalat to Vinh City (Nghe An) with single fares from only VND149,000 (USD6.4).

From February 23, Bamboo Airways will open three new routes: HCMC – Vinh, Hanoi – Vinh, Vinh – Buon Me Thuot, with the frequency of at least 7 round-trip flights/week.

Vinh – Dalat route will also be operated from February 27, with the frequency of 4 round trips/week.

On the occasion of opening routes to Vinh, Bamboo Airways continues to launch a program offering tickets with attractive prices from only VND149,000 (USD6.4), excluding taxes and other fees.

The opening of these new routes is under the Airline’s plan of operating 37-40 domestic and international routes in 2019, meeting the needs of passenger and freight transportation, facilitating trade, tourism, etc. of all regions in Vietnam.

Together with the tourism and resort products in Nghe An of FLC Group, these routes are hoped to attract more tourists to the province.

In recent years, Vinh International Airport has developed rapidly with the average flight frequency of 16 flights/day. The number of visitors has increased sharply over the years. To illustrate, Vinh – HCMC route has always been bustling with all-seat-filled flights. There are only two Vinh – Hanoi flights including an evening and a morning flight operated with mid-sized aircraft, which fails to cater the needs of customers.

According to the Provincial Party Secretary of Nghe An Nguyen Dac Vinh, the operation of Bamboo Airways’ flights from HCMC and Hanoi to Vinh will create more choices for tourists, satisfying the travel demand, fostering the growth of tourism, economy and culture of Nghe An.

Bamboo Airways is preparing for the upcoming summer travel peak with many incentives after the success of Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day’s programs. New destinations will be added to complete the route map throughout Vietnam, meeting the increasing demand for travelling.

Before reaching Vinh, Bamboo Airways has exploited many domestic routes including Hanoi – Quy Nhon, Hanoi – Nha Trang, Hanoi – Da Nang, Hanoi – Dong Hoi, Hanoi – Phu Quoc, Hanoi – Buon Me Thuot, Hanoi – HCMC, HCMC – Quy Nhon, HCMC – Van Don, HCMC – Thanh Hoa with positive feedback from passengers for the excellent services.

It is expected that in 2019, international flights to Asian countries starting with Japan, Korea, Singapore, etc. and European countries will also be launched by the Carrier.

The Airline is researching a number of destinations in the US such as Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, etc. to open direct routes to this country in late 2020 or early 2021 after Vietnamese aviation safety achieved CAT 1 granted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the US.

In 2019, Bamboo Airways will receive 30 new aircraft, increasing the total number of aircraft to about 40 to 50 in order to serve the Carrier’s operational plan. Previously, from March to June 2018, the Airline signed two agreements worth US8.8 billion to buy 44 A321neo and 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft from its two major international partners – Airbus and Boeing.

Established in 2017, Bamboo Airways is a new airline operating under the hybrid model which is an advanced, innovative transportation model – the combination of traditional and low-cost airlines, which caters quality services with affordable prices and excellent experiences to passengers.

The launch of Bamboo Airways provides customers with extremely quality packages with competitive prices for ticket booking, entertainment service, luggage storage and in-flight meals.

As a member of FLC Group, one of Vietnam’s largest conglomerate, Bamboo Airways’ goal is to contribute to foster regional linkage, creating motivation for socio-economic development and attracting domestic and foreign investment.
