Under the agreement, Bamboo Airways and Xanh SM will roll out co-branded programs and promotional offers for passengers combining Bamboo Airways flights with Xanh SM’s electric transportation services, particularly during peak travel periods. These initiatives will be developed around the message “Welcome to Vietnam with a Green Journey,” introducing passengers to modern, environmentally friendly mobility options.

In parallel, the two parties will collaborate on research and development of integrated products and services, leveraging each other’s strengths and complementary ecosystems. Accordingly, Bamboo Airways’ aviation products such as Flight Pass and bundled air service packages will be promoted alongside Xanh SM mobility gift cards through suitable distribution channels, flexibly meeting passengers’ diverse travel and service needs.

Notably, the partnership also focuses on creating long-term value for loyal customers. Bamboo Airways and Xanh SM will jointly develop linkage mechanisms between Xanh SM’s all-electric mobility services and the Bamboo Club frequent flyer program, expanding the benefits ecosystem for members while encouraging the adoption of environmentally friendly transportation habits.

The integration of Bamboo Airways’ air travel services with Xanh SM’s all-electric mobility network is expected to deliver consistent service quality across both air and ground journeys, thereby enhancing the overall travel experience for passengers.

Beyond customer-focused initiatives, Bamboo Airways and Xanh SM have also agreed to explore internal preferential policies for employees of both organizations. Through the Xanh for Business program, Xanh SM will provide electric mobility solutions for Bamboo Airways’ flight crews and staff. In turn, Bamboo Airways will study preferential policies on air tickets and aviation services for Xanh SM employees, strengthening mutual engagement between the two companies.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Truong Phuong Thanh, Chief Executive Officer of Bamboo Airways, shared:“The cooperation with Xanh SM aligns with Bamboo Airways’ strategy to expand its service ecosystem, thereby enhancing customer benefits and added value. At the same time, it represents our efforts to strengthen environmentally friendly solutions across Bamboo Airways’ operations, amid the growing emphasis on green mobility, emissions reduction, and sustainable development in the transportation and tourism sectors.”

Representing Xanh SM, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Chairman and Global Chief Executive Officer of GSM, shared: “Sustainable mobility is a key pillar of modern urban development. Through our cooperation with Bamboo Airways, Xanh SM continues to promote the integration of all-electric mobility solutions into daily life and tourism, contributing to the spread of civilized and socially responsible mobility standards.”

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Bamboo Airways and Xanh SM reflects a broader trend of service enterprises proactively connecting green mobility journeys in a holistic and sustainable manner, rather than operating travel segments in isolation. As travel and tourism demand continues to rise, collaboration across transportation modes is seen as a critical factor in enhancing service quality while making a positive contribution to the nation’s sustainable development goals.

Ms. Trieu Thi Thu Phuong has been with Bamboo Airways since 2022, serving as Chief Accountant, where she has been responsible for the airline’s financial and accounting operations and advising the Executive Board on financial management and governance.

A seasoned expert in finance and accounting, Ms. Trieu Thi Thu Phuong has more than 20 years of professional experience and has held key positions at major corporations and state-owned enterprises. Prior to joining Bamboo Airways, she held senior management roles including Member of the Board of Directors in charge of investment and finance at Song Da 2 Joint Stock Company, and Deputy Director of the Internal Audit Department at Song Da Corporation. In addition, she has served as a financial consultant for companies in the construction, investment, and trading sectors.

With her strong professional background, extensive practical experience, and in-depth understanding of the aviation industry, Ms. Trieu Thi Thu Phuong is expected to fully leverage her expertise, meet the requirements for high-quality human resources, and contribute to strengthening financial and accounting governance, stabilizing operations, and supporting Bamboo Airways during its new phase of development.

Her appointment is part of Bamboo Airways’ plan to consolidate and build a robust executive management team with strong aviation experience, thereby enhancing governance capabilities and enabling the airline to proactively mobilize resources and be well prepared to implement its new development strategy.

Currently, Bamboo Airways is gradually implementing specific plans to realize its development strategy for the 2026–2030 period. Among these, a large-scale recruitment plan of approximately 1,000 employees has been identified as a key component of the airline’s overall recovery and long-term growth strategy, aimed at strengthening high-quality human resources for core operational areas.

In parallel with enhancing its workforce, Bamboo Airways is targeting the expansion of its fleet, with plans to add between eight and ten aircraft per year from now until 2030. This roadmap is intended to restore the airline’s operating fleet to 30 aircraft, in line with the plan approved by the Government, thereby establishing a solid foundation for expanding its route network, diversifying products and services, and advancing the airline’s next stages of development in the coming decade.

To share the beauty of spring with every home, Bamboo Airways offers blossom transportation as checked baggage on all domestic flights: 

- Sales period: 15 January 2026 – 20 February 2026 
- Travel period: 19 January 2026 – 21 February 2026 
- Maximum size: 150cm x 40cm x 40cm 
- Transportation method: Checked baggage on domestic flights 
- Service details: 

Each passenger may transport one bundle (maximum 2 branches per bundle) at a cost of 486,000 VND/bundle (including 8% VAT). 

• Each flight accommodates up to 30 bundles. For additional bundles presented at the airport, acceptance will depend on the airline’s operational capacity. 
• Packaging requirements: Passengers must tie the branches securely into a bundle and wrap them appropriately. Trees with pots or soil are not accepted, including via cargo services. 

Due to limited capacity, passengers wishing to transport peach or apricot blossoms are encouraged to contact Bamboo Airways’ ticket offices, authorized agents, or our national hotline 1900 1166 to purchase the transportation package in advance.
