Bamboo Airways and Xanh SM Partner to Elevate the Green Mobility Experience
Hanoi, January 19, 2026 – Bamboo Airways and Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation, aiming to connect air travel with all-electric mobility solutions to enhance convenience, seamless connectivity, and sustainability for passengers of both parties.
Under the agreement, Bamboo Airways and Xanh SM will roll out co-branded programs and promotional offers for passengers combining Bamboo Airways flights with Xanh SM’s electric transportation services, particularly during peak travel periods. These initiatives will be developed around the message “Welcome to Vietnam with a Green Journey,” introducing passengers to modern, environmentally friendly mobility options.
In parallel, the two parties will collaborate on research and development of integrated products and services, leveraging each other’s strengths and complementary ecosystems. Accordingly, Bamboo Airways’ aviation products such as Flight Pass and bundled air service packages will be promoted alongside Xanh SM mobility gift cards through suitable distribution channels, flexibly meeting passengers’ diverse travel and service needs.
Notably, the partnership also focuses on creating long-term value for loyal customers. Bamboo Airways and Xanh SM will jointly develop linkage mechanisms between Xanh SM’s all-electric mobility services and the Bamboo Club frequent flyer program, expanding the benefits ecosystem for members while encouraging the adoption of environmentally friendly transportation habits.
The integration of Bamboo Airways’ air travel services with Xanh SM’s all-electric mobility network is expected to deliver consistent service quality across both air and ground journeys, thereby enhancing the overall travel experience for passengers.
Beyond customer-focused initiatives, Bamboo Airways and Xanh SM have also agreed to explore internal preferential policies for employees of both organizations. Through the Xanh for Business program, Xanh SM will provide electric mobility solutions for Bamboo Airways’ flight crews and staff. In turn, Bamboo Airways will study preferential policies on air tickets and aviation services for Xanh SM employees, strengthening mutual engagement between the two companies.
