ANNOUNCEMENT ON SUPPORT POLICY FOR COVID-19 IN DA NANG FROM JULY 26

Responding to the new development of COVID-19 in Da Nang, Bamboo Airways respectfully presents our support policy for passengers with flights to/from Da Nang (DAD) with departure dates from July 26, to August 31, 2020 as follows:

SUPPORT POLICY FOR INDIVIDUAL BOOKING (applicable to Business, Plus, and Eco fare classes)

1. Changing flight dates/itinerary:

  • Changes can be made once free of charge and fare difference (if any);
  • Change deadline: At least 04 hours before departure time
  • New flight time: July 27, 2020 – October 24, 2020

2. Refund:

  • Free refund is allowed with the following specific regulations:
    • For tickets issued through agencies: Money is transferred to the agency account after 45 days from the date the agent sends the request to the airline by email;
    • For tickets issued through the airline’s website: Money will be transferred to the customer’s account after 90 days from the date the airline receives the customer’s request;
  • Refund deadline: passengers must notify at least 04 hours before departure time.

SUPPORT POLICY FOR GROUP BOOKING

  • Change in dates/itinerary: Changes can be made once free of change and fare difference (if any);
  • Refund: Free refund. Refunds will be used to pay for subsequent group bookings;
  • Request deadline: Passengers must notify at least 12 hours before the departure time during the period of July 28-31, 2020 and at least 72 hours before the departure time from August 1, 2020. In particular, change requests of group bookings departing during July 25-27, 2020 will receive the support policy without deadline constraints;
  • New flight period: July 26, 2020 – October 24, 2020;
  • Validity of application: Applicable to group bookings change requests from July 25, 2020 until further notice;

SUPPORT POLICY FOR BOOKINGS USING COMBO PACKAGES (coming to Da Nang):

  • Subjects: Passengers with issued tickets using flight and hotel combo and autumn flat price combo who need to change the flight date or itinerary due to the influence of COVID-19;
  • Support policy during disease phase:
    • Change in date/itinerary: Changes can be made once free of charge and fare difference;
    • Notice deadline:
      • (i) Autumn combo: At least 12 hours before the first departure time on the ticket;
      • (ii) Flight and hotel combo: At least 72 hours from the first departure time on the ticket, starting August 1, 2020. During the July 26-31, 2020: at least 12 hours notice before the first departure time on the ticket (excluding the COVID-19 support phase of February 2020 to May 2020) ;
    • New flight period: July 26, 2020 – October 24, 2020;
  • Refund: not allowed;
  • Name change: surcharges under normal conditions
  • Validity of application: Applicable to change requests from July 25, 2020 until further notice;
